When Alex Palmer’s girlfriend Claire buys an apartment in Belle Vue Manor, he can’t believe his luck. A history student, Alex lives for things such as the Belle Vue, which was formerly a Victorian lunatic asylum.

Each of them come face to face with the consequences of evil. The Belle Vue has a dark history, and the rumors of cruel treatment of the patients, even satanic rituals, are true.

Two strands, past and present, unfurl. The Belle Vue houses a thirst for revenge, and Alex is unaware of the terrible price he and the ones he loves will pay to expose the truth.
