Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer Restored And Re-released
John McNaughton’s classic and disturbing film about real life serial killer Henry Lee Lucas is, incredibly, thirty years old this year and getting a long awaited 4K restoration by Dark Sky Films for a selected theatrical re-release in October.
Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer launched the career of celebrated actor Michael Rooker, who will appear with McNaughton at a red carpet premiere of this new restoration on 14 October at the Chicago International Film Festival.
No news yet on a Blu-ray release but chances are one won’t be too far behind.
Casefile: ARKHAM Launches Second Kickstarter
01Publishing’s Lovecraft Noir graphic novel Casefile: ARKHAM met with great praise and acclaim when it was released at the end of last year. Described by critics as a perfect blending of the hardboiled detective fiction of Raymond Chandler and the eldritch horror of H.P. Lovecraft, the graphic novel plunged reader into the darkest corners of Arkham, New England, and the world of detective Hank Flynn.
When an old friend shows up at Flynn’s office waving a gun and rambling about “the Abyss of the Shoggoths,” the detective is pulled into a case of love, revenge, and an elite family’s generational feud—one which just so happen to have interbred with the spawn of a Sumerian God.
Entitled CASEFILE: Arkham: Her Blood Runs Cold, this second graphic novel is intended to run approximately 120 pages, plus additional content, and can be backed here.

Westworld TV Series Releases Full Trailer
The upcoming Westworld series, based on Michael Crichton’s original novel and the 1973 film of the same name starring Yul Brynner, has relased its first full trailer, and it’s looking like it could be a dark, mysterious and deadly place to visit.
Described as ‘a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin, exploring a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged’, Westworld boasts a star studded cast including Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, and Thandie Newton, and premieres on HBO in the US on Sunday 2 October.
