Twin Peaks Returns

25 years on, David Lynch has announced that Twin Peaks is returning to warp our minds. The series will be aired on ShowTime in 2016 and will be written and produced by Lynch and Mark Frost. As all of the details reveal themselves, This Is Horror will bring them to you.

SeaCon1 invades Hornsea

On Saturday 29 November, Floral Hall, Hornsea will host what is now being dubbed SeaCon#1. In this spooky extravaganza, PS Publishing will be presenting a number of readings from authors such as Alison Littlewood,  Pete Crowther, Mark Morris and Ramsey Campbell. The tickets are incredible value for money, priced at just £4, which also includes a curry supper – order yours now from the PS Publishing website.

Forbidden Planet Signing

Forbidden Planet in London will be hosting the mother of all book signings on 25 October. Are you ready for the Thrill Ride of your life?

Writers of American comedy film, Neighbors, Andrew Jay Cohen & Brendan O’Brien, are set to pen the latest horror film from Fox, Thrill Ride. This tongue-in-cheek black comedy will tell the story of a high school night which slowly turns into a blood bath in the wake of a mysterious serial killer. The amusement park, rented out for the seniors, will become the stage for a series of gruesome murders, which inevitably sees the students coming together to fight back in true colleague slasher style.
