Presented by Writers Online and Alex Davis Events, Spring Haunts returns to York this month

Following on from 2024’s successful debut event, Spring Haunts returns to York for two days of writing workshops, interviews, booksales and more at York over the weekend of 29th and 30th March. This ongoing collaboration between Writing Magazine and Alex Davis Events is not to be missed for aspiring authors of horror and Gothic fiction.
Taking place in the heart of the city, the loaded programme will feature interview slots with Andrew Michael Hurley (Starve Acre, Barrowbeck, The Loney) and Alison Littlewood (Mistletoe, A Cold Season, The Crow Garden), who also writes as AJ Ellwood (The Other Lives of Miss Emily White).
The two days will also feature workshops with Yvonne Battle-Felton (Curdle Creek, Remembered), Simon Clark (Blood Crazy, The Night of the Triffids) and Amanda Mason (The Wayward Girls, The Hiding Place), with the event hosted and led by lecturer, workshopper and Writing Magazine regular contributor Alex Davis.
