Horror Channel Set To Go ‘Xtreme’ in January

Horror Channel in the UK has announced that it is to broadcast a series of hard-hitting, controversial horror on Saturday nights during January 2016. Featuring films from notorious Dutch director Tom Six and legendary American auteur Eli Roth, the Xtreme series runs January 2 through January 30. The films include:

Saturday, January 2: The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009). German actor Dieter Laser chews up the scenery as a mad doctor willing to do anything to chance mankind’s existence. His vision: remove the kneecaps of humans, forcing them to go on all fours, then connecting them mouth to anus to form a human centipede.

Saturday, January 9: The Human Centipede (Full Sequence) (2011) Abducting motorists from a parking garage, an obese, deranged mama’s boy (played expertly by Laurence R. Harvey) attempts to recreate the experiments from the first film with his own sick and demented twists.

Saturday, January 16: Hostel Part II (2007) Eli Roth’s sequel to the notorious Hostel. This film focuses on the shadowy ‘Elite Hunting Club’. Three American women take a weekend excursion abroad. Thinking they will be staying at a luxurious spa, the girls become pawns in a game to entertain wealthy perverted deviants from across the globe.

Saturday, January 23: Hostel Part III (2011) Stepping back into the producer’s role, Eli Roth moves the action to Las Vegas and focuses the attention on a group of men attending a bachelor party who feel the full force of the Elite Hunting Club. When two prostitutes lure them away from the Strip, the men find themselves the subjects of the sickest show in town, a perverted game of torture to the death.

To cap the series off, Xtreme closes with the 2010 remake of I Spit on Your Grave (2010).
