British Fantasy Award nominees announced
The nominees for the 2015 British Fantasy Awards have been announced. The shortlists have been whittled down by the juries with some fantastic books and authors amongst them. Special congratulations go to Rich Hawkins and Laura Mauro for their maiden nominations along with Ray Cluley for his nomination for Water For Drowning, his novella published by This Is Horror. Mayhem needs teenage kicks
Mayhem Film Festival is looking for six young people aged between 9-13 to help arrange their teenage horror strand at this year’s festival. The successful applicants will choose a weekend of programming that will be screened at Broadway in Nottingham on 28 and 29 November. Zombie All-Nighter
The organisers of Grimm Up North have organised a real treat for you dead heads out there, 5 September will see the Grimm guys unleash 6 zombie flicks on willing participants. FrightFest trailer released
The organisers of FrightFest have announced Scream Queen legend Barbara Crampton as just one of their special guest appearances that also see Rick Wakeman, Toyah Willcox, James Cosmo, Neil Marshall and Bernard Rose.
