Escape lands on DVD
Escape, starring Ingrid Bolsø Berdal (Cold Prey 1 & 2), is released on DVD on 29 July. Set in a world ravaged by the plague, a poor family try to find a new home whilst being tracked by a group of ruthless killers. Escape is available on DVD and as a download from Monday.

Universal Studios have announced that their Halloween Horror Nights 2013 will feature an elaborate Evil Dead maze. Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell will be reunited after 20 years to present this extension of their classic movie.
Horror Channel and FrightFest announce short film programme
The FrightFest short film programme will feature a host of familiar names this year including the new short Shell Shocked from Dominic Brunt and Crazy For You by James Moran. For the full line-up check out the Horror Channel website.
Castlevania storms Cologne
Konami have announced that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be showcased at Gamescon in Cologne from 21-25 August. The game will feature anti-hero Gabe fighting a whole host of vampires in modern times. This Is Horror will bring you more details of this as and when they become available.
