Stephen King’s Cell takes shape
The cast is slowly building for the screen adaptation of Stephen King’s Cell. With Tod ‘Kip’ Williams in the director’s chair and John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson in the lead roles it has been announced that Isabelle Fuhrman and Stacy Keach have also signed up. King has written the screenplay himself and the film is currently being shopped at the Berlin Film Festival.
Details emerge of new Adam Nevill novel
Tor have posted the first details of the new Adam Nevill novel No One Gets Out Alive on their website. The story focuses on Stephanie, a young woman down on her luck who accepts the offer of a new flat that may just become the beginning of her worst nightmares. The book is due to be published in October.
Sam Stone signs deal with Telos
Telos Publishing have snapped up a number of books from Sam Stone including her short novel The Darkness Within that was previously published by AudioGo that folded last year. Telos have also bought the rights to The Jinx Chronicles, a series of post-apocalyptic books that are due out later this year.
Hannibal Season Two trailer lands
The trailer for season two of Hannibal starring Mads Mikkelsen, among others, has landed online. The show premieres in the US on 28 February. The trailer does contain spoilers from season one so viewer discretion is advised.
