After a relentless grizzly starts to wreak havoc on a small town, the sheriff heads into the forest to find his ecologist wife but instead crosses paths with his estranged, ex-con brother. They soon find themselves on the run from the massive grizzly bear. The hunted become the hunter in this edge-of-your seat thriller about the power of nature and the smell of blood.

Why we’re looking forward to this: If nothing else, when was the last time we saw a great killer bear movie? Actually, when was the first time we saw a great killer bear movie? Happily there’s always a first time for everything, and fingers crossed that Into The Grizzly Maze is it.

Now we know what you’re thinking – a killer bear movie? Seriously? We’d be thinking the same ourselves if it wasn’t for the pedigree of actors that have signed up (or been blackmailed by their agents) for this film. We’ve got Billy Bob Thornton (Armageddon), we’ve got James Marsden (X-Men), we’ve got Scott Glenn (The Silence Of The Lambs), and we’ve got Thomas Jane (The Mist, The Punisher). All fine actors and all surely not so desperate for a pay check that they’d jump on board any old rubbish. Right?

If that smorgasbord of acting talent isn’t enough to tempt you, then perhaps the real star of the show will sway you, none other than Bart The Bear! You know, from We Bought A Zoo! What? You haven’t seen it?

Seriously, though, a good trashy b-movie is good for the soul every now and again, and Into The Grizzly Maze sounds like it might just foot the bill (until Sharknado 3 arrives, of course).
