Why we’re looking forward to this: Who doesn’t love a great revenge movie, and director Sean Brosnan’s progeny of Cape Fear and Oldboy looks to be a great addition to the genre. While there may be nothing new to say in the revenge genre, it’s all about the execution and My Father Die looks to tick all the boxes for a challenging and uncomfortable ride for the viewer, which is exactly what a revenge flick needs to deliver.
For Brosnan’s film to be chosen to screen at this year’s FrightFest gives validation to the quality of the movie, and we’re very much looking forward to seeing it and letting the This Is Horror family know what we think. Until then, check out the trailer below.
My Father Die has its European premiere screening on Thursday 25 August as the opening film of FrightFest 2016.
