    The Outer Dark presents an ALL-NEW Publisher Spotlight of Corvallis, Oregon-based NO Press, featuring an exclusive interview with publisher/editor John W. M. Thompson and six readings from NO’s debut anthology Mooncalves: Strange Stories, in this order: Briar Ripley Page (0:41:44), Lisa Tuttle (0:49:14), Janalyn Guo (1:00:05), Ernest O. Ògúnyẹmí(1:09:34), Jaime Corbacho(1:23:14), and last but not least Adam Golaski(1:33:20)! Thompson discusses his own secret origin story discovering horror and spec-lit and Philip K. Dick, why he decided to found a new press as a response to the pandemic and politics, cathartic parallels between the current relevance of Weird fiction and the rise of surrealism and Dadaism post-WWI,  a pivotal correspondence with Adam Golaski, how the press and anthology got their names, his vision for Mooncalves: Strange Stories, how he assembled the contributors and artists, other presses that provided inspiration, and what’s next for NO Press.
